From field forester to state policy, my career has touched nearly every corner of California's timber industry. I've managed private timberlands, helped landowners navigate complex regulations, and worked directly with the State Board of Forestry and Fire Protection to shape the rules that govern our profession. Today, as Senior Vice President at the California Forestry Association, I continue that work at the policy level.

This program started as a passion project—something I did on the side because I believed the next generation of RPFs deserved better preparation than they were getting. It has grown well beyond what I imagined, and I couldn't be more motivated to see it continue. California needs great foresters. This is my contribution to making sure we have them.
