The Apprentice Professional Forester Program consists of 9 modules—each a key aspect of what it takes to become a professional forester. This course directly prepares you for the Registered Professional Forester exam.

III. Forest Mensuration
The measurement of trees including diameter, height, volume, age, and growth.
IV. Protection
Safeguarding forest stands against fire, insects, disease, and other disturbances.
V. Administration
The organizational frameworks that guide forest operations, records, and compliance.
VI. Policy
The laws and regulations that shape how forests are managed and protected.
VII. Economics
The financial principles behind timber valuation, land investment, and forest enterprise.
VIII. Management
Planning and coordinating forest activities to meet productivity and sustainability goals.
IX. Ecology
The study of forest ecosystems, biodiversity, and the processes that sustain healthy woodlands.
